Dr. Scott Blackhart, DDS graduated Oakdale High in 2001.  Scott attended UC Davis for a degree in Biology, followed by Boston University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2009.  He served as a dentist in the US Navy for 5 years of military service.  During that time he was fortunate to be able to serve his country while learning valuable skills and working closely with dental specialists like Oral Surgeons and Endodontists as mentors.

Dr. Blackhart joined our team in September 2014, and he has enjoyed seeing the friendly faces of Oakdale again.  He is passionate about dentistry and loves pursuing continuing education courses and anything to improve his ability to provide high quality care for all his patients.

Dr. Tony Albertoni, DDS, who is a native of Oakdale, graduated from Oakdale High School in 1975.  He then graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry and continued on for a degree in Dentistry from Oral Roberts University.  After a one year hospital residency in Fresno, he worked as a dentist for five years in Ripon, and in 1989, he was happy to return here to his hometown to set up our current practice.  He lives in Oakdale with his wife, Lisa, and their four kids.

Dr. Joe Corso, DDS graduated from St. Peters University, NJ with a degree in Biology and then earned his degree in Dentistry from Oral Roberts University (classmates with Dr. Albertoni). After serving four years as a dentist in the United States Army, he practiced in Southern CA for seven years before joining Dr Albertoni in 1994. He lives in Oakdale with his wife Heidi and they have two adult sons.

Debby – RDH, joined the team in 2000

“I love working with people.  If a patient is willing to improve their oral health, I’m there to help.  I was born and raised in Oakdale, and many of our patients are longtime friends or relatives.  I show cow horses nationally and am on the road quite a bit.  I love to talk ‘horses’ with my patients – oh well I’ll fess up – I love to talk!  We work here as a team.  Sometimes it’s like a stand-up comic team, but I know I can rely on any team member with a sense of humor.”

Kerri Ann – RDH, joined the team in 2007.

“My parents grew up in Oakdale, but felt it was getting too big in the 1980’s and moved us to Arnold.  I love what I do!  I started as a dental assistant and was encouraged by my dentist and his wife to continue my education.  I found the most joy from the relationships and friendships that I have with many of my patients, and sharing stories with them to catch up between visits.  I consider many my dear friends!  Working here is like a weekly mini-vacation for me, but I also love spending my time as a mother of two children.  I enjoy baseball games, boating, camping, family trips, and cheering on my children from the sidelines or audience!”

Veronica – RDH, joined the team in 2004.

We call her “V-ron” around here.  “I have been in the dental field since 2004.  I have experience in dental assisting and now dental hygiene after graduating from Carrington College in May of 2014.  I enjoy my chosen profession and value the importance of preventive care and patient education.”

MichelleRDH, joined the team in 2012.

Michelle started with us at the front desk, left for school and we are lucky to have her back.  “I started out just volunteering with a bunch of crazy ladies.  Now I’ve been adopted into the family and have been trained to be just as nuts as the rest of them!  I love being a part of this office and I love talking to the patients, getting to know them, and reassuring them with any concerns they may have.”

DianneRDA and Office Manager, joined the team in 1993

“I graduated dental assisting school in 1980, started working with Drs. Albertoni & Corso in 1993 and have been office manager since 2006.  I’ve lived in Oakdale for approximately 21 years, but I grew up on a horse ranch between Modesto and Riverbank and attended Riverbank High School.  I have a heart for others and enjoy helping people.  The dental office provides me with the opportunity to help the staff work together as a family to take care of our patients.  I also love working in a small town, where I may see our patients at Oakdale sporting events, church, local events or just around town.  We don’t just have patients at our office: we have a community of family & friends!

SusanPatient Coordinator, joined the team in 2004.

Susan is one of our Waterford natives.  She works hard, and always has a smile.  “Working in this office is great.  I enjoy working with doctors who have a genuine concern for their patients and staff.  I like helping the patients feel comfortable with their dental experience and enjoy seeing their new smile!  Outside the office I enjoy photography and spending time with the family.”

Susanna – RDA and Patient Coordinator, joined the team in 1991.

Susanna lives in Waterford, but she grew up in Yuma Arizona until age 16, and attended Oakdale High School for her junior and senior years.  “I love working in the dental field because I believe good health begins with taking care of your teeth.  I am also able to help with translating for our Spanish speaking patients.  I have enjoyed working in this office mostly because the office pace is very down to earth, personable and family oriented.  I also love scrapbooking and reading.

Rose – RDA and Patient Coordinator, joined the team in 1994

Rose seems to know just about everyone here in Oakdale, and somehow she always gets them to bring her treats.  “I love working at this family oriented office that truly cares for their patients’ well-being.  Greeting and making our patients feel comfortable is my favorite part of my job.  I love my family and pets, and taking road trips and mini vacations with family and close friends.  I love the community here in Oakdale, where family & sports are a great part of our life.”

Breanna (Bre) Patient Coordinator, joined the team in 2004.

Breanna grew up here in Oakdale, and has settled down in Turlock.  “I love greeting patients with a smile and enjoy helping to assist them in any way.  The dentists I work for are great and very kind.  They are looking out for what’s in your best interest and love what they do!  At home I’m a wife to a hard working guy, mommy to two beautiful little girls, and daughter of the Lord.”

Donna – RDA, CDA, joined the team in 2002.

A resident of Denair, aside from working full-time with us Donna is also involved in examinations for state RDA licensing exams.  “I love being able to help patients feel comfortable at the dental office.  So many people have anxiety about going to the dentist.  I try to make all our patients (young and old) feel special and important.  I also love going to Giants games!”  Donna even decorated our Giants room in the office.  You have to see it if you are a fan.

Joy – RDAEF, joined the team in 1998.

“I first met Dr. Tony when we worked together in Ripon.  A few years after he migrated back to Oakdale, I was invited to follow, and I’ve never regretted it.  Few people can say their employers are the absolute greatest to work for (and with!)  I really appreciate all three of our doctors’ work ethic, their integrity, and how they don’t take themselves too seriously.  No, you can’t have my job, I’m not retiring yet!”

Mary – RDA, joined the team in 2004.

“I graduated in 1980 from Modesto JC Dental Assisting program.  I have been assisting for over 35 years and still love what I do.  I especially enjoy helping our Portuguese speaking patients and interacting with all our patients and getting to know them.  I enjoy working with everyone here and have a great time and fun at work.  It is like my second family and a great team to work with.  I have been married 33 years, and I have two wonderful kids and grandkids.  I love spending time with my family, my friends, and my dogs.

Chris – RDA, joined the team in 2005.

Chris lives and grew up in Modesto.  “I’m a happily married mother of two great children.  I started working in dentistry hoping for a change of pace, and what I discovered is that I love meeting and talking to people.  It feels good to be helping and enriching people’s lives.”
